At Sitematic we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for and what choices you have.

1. What data we collect

From your account: name, email and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
From your usage: the sites, pages and content you create.
Technical: anonymous browsing data (page views, approximate device) for usage metrics.

2. What we use it for

To provide and improve the service, authenticate you, process payments, send you operational communications (for example, confirmations) and understand how the product is used. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in. On our marketing site we use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic in aggregate; these analytics cookies are only enabled if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice by clearing the cookies in your browser.

4. Third parties that process data

Stripe — processes payments (we never store your full card details).
Google Analytics — usage metrics for the marketing site.
SendGrid — sending transactional emails, when enabled.
Each processes data according to its own privacy policy.

5. Data from the sites you publish

If your site has forms, a store or members, the data your visitors enter is stored for you to manage. In that case you are the controller responsible for processing that data toward your visitors.

6. Retention and security

We keep your data while you have an active account. We apply reasonable security measures (HTTPS, hashed passwords, owner-based access control). No system is 100% foolproof.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, and download your content. To exercise these rights or delete your account, email us at hello@sitematic.app.

8. Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with its date.
